 Minister Marion Hall to release album on July 8.— Gospel singer Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) is elated about the release the first video of her latest album When God Speaks. The video, Room In My House, was shot in Brooklyn, New York, last week, by Coche Productions and premiered days ago. “I am at the happiest place in my life right now. The Holy Spirit is washing over me and I am just happy in Christ. FEMALE ARTISTS ARE ASKING FOR MORE FROM REGGAE SUMFEST 2016!

By Curtis Campbell— The organiZers of Reggae Sumfest have been forced to respond to suggestions that the festival, which takes place in Montego Bay, St James, later this month, is bias against women. Only three women, Spice, who is arguably the number one female dancehall artist in the island, Clymaxx and Ishawna have been booked for this year’s show, leading critics to declare that it is a ‘bullfest’. Robert Russell, a member of Summerfest Production, which is staging the July 17-23 festival, conceded that more women could have been included in the line-up. “To be honest, we could have had more. MARION HALL (LADY SAW) PUSHES BACK THE RELEASE OF HER FIRST GOSPEL ALBUM TO JULY 22!

 Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw)— Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) has pushed back the release of her gospel album When God Speaks to July 22. The set was previous scheduled for release last Friday. “We had a few printing issues and so on, but things are in place for the July 22nd album. I know the fans are waiting on this one, but they can go ahead and pre-order,” she told the Jamaica Observer. Produced on her Minister Marion Hall label, the 14-track set features works from musicians including Sly and Robbie and producer Bobby Digital. BY: DENIECA BROWN—  She has arrived! Moments ago gospel singer Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) checked in at the White House in Washington DC on Facebook. According to Hall, she had just made it through security clearance at the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States. “Security clearance. Where am I? <3 to you ALL – Feeling Wonderful,” said Hall on Facebook decked out in a white suit, while sporting a natural hairstyle. Hall will be performing at the third Annual Caribbean & African International Leadership Conference & Awards Gala at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. The former dancehall heavyweight told the Jamaica Star that she believed that the opportunity was presented by God.
