SINGJAY LATTY J RELEASES NEW SINGLE “NO ABUSE!”

Latty J— CONCERNED about the alarming level of domestic abuse in Jamaica, particularly against women, singjay Latty J lets her feelings known on No Abuse, her latest song. Latty J, whose real name is Tynese Jackson, hopes the song will encourage women to take a stand against domestic abuse by reporting their cases to the relevant authorities. “We often hear about women who are in abusive relationships. A lot of them stay in these relationships because they are scared to leave and end up paying the price for remaining with their lives,” she said. “I hope that my song will inspire women to stand up and realise that they do not have to stay in abusive relationships. MR. VEGAS HEADS TO EUROPE FOR SUMMER DATES!

 Mr.Vegas—- IT is almost 20 years since Mr Vegas’ smash hit Heads High ruled reggae charts around the world. The singjay is still going strong, performing mainly in North America and Europe. This month, he heads to Europe for a series of festival and club dates in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany. Vegas’ opening show is on the 24th — the One Love Festival in Venice. The itinerary includes other popular events such as the Lagata Reggae Festival in Zaragoza, Spain, on the 25th; Reggae Jam Festival in Bersenbruck, Germany, on the 26th; and Reggae Sun Ska in Bordeaux, France, on August 9.
