(Photo: Karl McLarty)- Singermusician Lloyd Parks made his debut on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart last week with the 22-track Time A Go Dread. Released in December by British independent company Pressure Sounds, it debuted at number 15. Time A Go Dread features collaborations with deejays Dillinger and Wally Bucker. Slaving and Mafia, hit songs for Parks as a vocalist in the early 1970s, are also on the album. Parks also had a massive hit in the 1970s with Officially, but settled in his role as bass player and leader of We The People and The Professionals bands.
