Susan “Dr. Sue” Davis In the 1980’s and early 1990’s Susan Lycett worked as a Professional Actress and an esteemed Arts Administrator.  As a then member of the British Actor’s Equity, she worked and toured extensively in the UK. THE JAMAICA CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION PRESENTS “AN EVENING WITH MISS LOU” SEPTEMBER 7!

  Late cultural icon Louise Bennett-Coverley, popularly known as Miss Lou—- The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) is planning a number of activities during September to mark the 95th birthday anniversary of late cultural icon, Louise Bennett-Coverley, popularly known as Miss Lou. Activities begin on Sunday (September 7) with a special tribute concert, dubbed, ‘An evening with Miss Lou’, at the Louise Bennett Garden Theatre on Hope Road in St Andrew. The concert will feature recitals of Miss Lou’s work in poetry and traditional songs done by some of Jamaica’s noted cultural performers including Fae Ellington, Amina Blackwood-Meeks, Deon Silvera, Karen Harriot, and Sheldon Shephard.
