DANCEHALL PARODY ARTIST FOOD KARTEL, SUCCUMBED TO A STROKE!

Food Kartel— Dancehall artist Courtney ‘Food Kartel’ Broughton is dead. He died on Wednesday night, only a few days after it was suspected that he had suffered a stroke. “I will always remember Food Kartel as a man who loved music, he was a great live performer, and an encouraging individual. He was a real vibes man, happy no matter what was going through in his life. He would always find a way to hustle a money so that he and his fellow artists could do road and promote our songs. Among them are Ninjaman who described the incident as tragic. “This is really a tragic event. Whether the victims are gay or not, it is fifty lives that were snuffed out and another 53 injured. I don’t know the reason why they were killed and I am not quick to say it is because they are gay, but it is sad. A TRINIDADIAN HOTEL LIFTS ITS BAN ON DANCEHALL MUSIC!

By Andre’ Williams— A sign that was posted at the Clifton Hill Beach Hotel.— The management of the Clifton Hill Beach Hotel in Trinidad has apologized sincerely and has immediately removed a sign that was erected at the resort, which strictly prohibits dancehall music on the property. THE STAR understands that the sign, which says, “NO DANCEHALL MUSIC by order of management”, has been creating quite a stir since it made its way on social media, prompting a backlash from both Trinidadians and Jamaicans alike.
