MARKUS MYRIE (BUJU’S SON) REJECTS HIS FATHER’S NEW TUNE “MY FAVORITE SONG” WHILE ITS PRODUCER MARK HUDSON DEFENDS IT!

 Markus Myrie— MARKUS Myrie, son of incarcerated reggae artist Buju Banton, is claiming that his father does not approve of the latest track that features him. The single, My Favourite Song, also features the artist Marco. It is produced by Mark Hudson on the Stone Cold Records imprint and was released last month. “I spoke to my father and he doesn’t remember the song. I saw the article in the Observer that it was recorded in 2001. Now, hearing a collab without his approval, my father is not with it or for it,” Myrie told Splash yesterday. Released one month ago, the track is entitled My Favourite Song. Produced by locally based Stone Cold Records, the single features Marco. Head of Stone Cold Records, Mark Hudson, said My Favourite Song was recorded in 2001 but never released.
