THE PETER TOSH MUSEUM TO PRESENT “THE STEPPIN RAZOR EXPERIENCE!”

Peter Tosh on his famed unicycle.—- As Jamaica celebrates Reggae Month, the recently opened Peter Tosh Museum will be hosting The Steppin’ Razor Experience, in honor of the reggae legend. The event, scheduled to take place at the newly appointed Peter Tosh Square at the Pulse Centre on February 25, will feature live and recorded music. A number of reggae heavyweights are set to perform, among them Andrew Tosh, Beenie Man, Dre Tosh and Garnett Silk Jr. Guests will also be able to go on special tours in what is being dubbed as ‘A Night at the Museum.’ Tours will be offered at discounted rates and Jamaicans and visitors alike will get another opportunity to access this already famous facility comfortably. NEW MUSEUM AIMS TO KEEP PETER TOSH’S LEGACY ALIVE!

Since Tosh’s death at his St Andrew home in September 1987, she has travelled a long road to get recognition for his success as a solo artist after leaving The Wailers, as well as getting industry investors to recognize the value of his heritage. A MUSEUM TO HONOR PETER TOSH, OPENS IN KINGSTON OCTOBER 19, HIS BIRTHDAY!

 Peter Tosh—- A MUSEUM dedicated to life and works of late reggae singer Peter Tosh will be opened on the grounds of Pulse Model Agency on Trafalgar Road in St Andrew, on October 19. The project is a joint venture among Pulse; the Tosh Estate; and Marlene Brown, Tosh’s partner at the time of his death. Most of the exhibits are from mementos saved by Brown, who was also closely involved with Tosh’s business life. “Mi know the value of Peter Tosh, that’s why mi work for him and devote my life to him,” Brown told the Sunday Observer recently.
