THE “WORLD-A-REGGAE” EXHIBITION HITS WASHINGTON DC, UNTIL MAY 30!

Michael Thompson—- THE AMA Art Museum of the Americas is currently showing 24 pieces from the International Reggae Poster Contest (IRPC) at its Washington DC headquarters. A free event, this is the IRPC’s seventh ‘World-A-Reggae’ exhibition. Co-hosted by the AMA and Jamaica Mission at the Organisation of American States (OAS) Marcus Garvey Hall, the showing ends May 30. An opening reception, scheduled for tomorrow, will be attended by His Excellency Stephen Vasciannie, Ambassador of Jamaica to the United States Professor Carolyn Cooper of the University of the West Indies, Michael Thompson, and Maria Papaefstathou, co-founders of the contest.
