 Keith Richards— Stylistically, Gregory Isaacs and Keith Richards were worlds apart. Isaacs’ suave vocal delivery earned him the moniker the ‘Cool Ruler. Richards’ eccentric mannerisms inspired Johnny Depps’ Jack Sparrow character in the hit movie franchise Pirates of The Caribbean. Last week, the Rolling Stones guitarist released the video to his cover of Love is Overdue, one of Isaacs’ many hit songs. The song is from Crosseyed Heart, Richards’ first solo album in over 20 years.   Jagger comes out for Chronixx— Mick Jagger has rubbed shoulders with prime reggae talent in his time — Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, and now Chronixx. The Rolling Stones frontman was in the audience for Saturday’s SummerStage concert at Central Park in New York City, which Chronixx headlined with veteran roots singer Junior Reid. Jagger, who attended the show with three of his daughters, went backstage to meet the singer after the show. The free event attracted over 5,000 fans according to Jesse Serwer, editor of the Largeup.com, a co-sponsor of SummerStage.
