SOUTH FLORIDA’S KING BANTON TOPS THE CHARTS WITH “SWEET CAROLINE!”

  KING BANTON… music is and has always been my thing—- Reggae singer King Banton’s version of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline seems to have hit all the right notes. The song is number one spot on the South Florida Reggae Chart, number two on the New York Foundation Radio Top 30 chart and number nine on the Miami WAVS chart. Commenting on response to the single, the South Florida-based singer said. “It has been sweet indeed!” Sweet Caroline is one of Diamond’s biggest hits. King Banton says he grew up listening to the song and was encouraged to cover it by a friend. He is promoting his album, You Can Make It, which was released in January by TrainLine Records.
