BOUNTY KILLER AND NINJAMAN REFUSE TO ATTEND STING 2016, NOT EVEN TO COLLECT AN AWARD!

By Shereita Grizzle Bounty Killer— Organizers of Sting recently announced that come next month they will be honoring several artists that have helped to make the event one of the greatest stage shows in the Caribbean. However, veteran dancehall artists Ninja Man and Bounty Killer, who have been named among those to be honored, have said that they will not be attending Sting this year, not even to collect such an award. CANADIAN SONGBIRD CHELSEA STEWART, DELIGHTS AUDIENCE AT NINJAMAN’S BIRTHDAY BASH!

Chelsea Stewart stepped on stage at Ninjaman’s Birthday bash and thrilled the audience with her #1 hit single ‘Over You’. The love shown from the audience was overwhelming for this Canadian singer/songwriter. NINJA MAN SPLITS FROM DOWNSOUND RECORDS!

Established record company, Downsound Records continues to downsize after it was announced Tuesday that legendary dancehall artist, Ninja Man, who had been signed with them since 2012, has cut ties with the label. The news was confirmed by Downsound CEO, Joe Bogdanovich in an interview with IRIE FM Tuesday afternoon, though he would not specify reasoning for the split. The ‘Don Gorgon,’ has yet to comment on the matter, though he reportedly hinted at a departure from Downsound during his birthday bash in January. Ninja Man is the second notable act to leave the label this year, with former Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall standout, Specialist calling it quits in January, citing lack of promotion, among other things. MONTEGO BAY TAXI DRIVER, WINS TALENT COMPETITION AND RECORDING CONTRACT WITH DOWNSOUND RECORDS!

According to the taxi driver, he entered several local competitions which never reaped any dividends. His fortunes recently changed, however, after being announced the winner of the talent competition at the NinjaMan Taxi Appreciation Fun Day in Ocho Rios, St Ann. Using the moniker Zedek, the driver — who plies the Mount Salem to Montego Bay route — won cash prize of $250,000, plus a recording contract with Downsound Records label. “I am 100 per cent ready to work with Downsound.
