Based on the success of the trip, Cherine, who has a new album coming out soon, could find herself tapping into that market where her brand of positive reggae dancehall-soul music seems to have found a new home. Cherine and her six-member band made their first trip to the African continent, having been invited to perform at the 15th edition of the Arts Alive Festival in Johannesburg, where other artistes, including Jah Vinci, also performed.
