Junior Reid— Patrick Sutherland Reid, older brother of singer Junior Reid and a key member of his JR Productions, died last Tuesday. Popularly known as ‘Thrilly’, he died from complications of hypertension at Medical Associates in Kingston at age 55. “Is a great loss, Thrilly was mi bes’ friend. Somebody mi coulda always talk to,” Reid told the Jamaica Observer .Raised in the Waterhouse area of Kingston, Thrilly Reid was also an independent producer who worked with artistes from his community. He is the second of Reid’s brother to die. Their younger sibling, Leighton ‘Grammy’ Reid, passed away several years ago. Patrick Sutherland ‘Thrilly’ Reid is survived by 11 children and eight grandchildren. His funeral service is scheduled for May 15 at a location to be announced. … Read entire article »
