DANCEHALL ARTIST QQ RESUMES HIS “JACKHAMMER” U.S. TOUR AFTER FALLING ILL!

 QQ on the mend—- DANCEHALL artist QQ is back on his 40-date, Jackhammer tour after falling ill in the United States, last Thursday. The entertainer was reportedly seen bleeding from the nostrils and coughing up blood. He was attended to by a medical team at a hotel he was staying. Josiah Dawkins, QQ’s father and manager, said the artist had just landed in Atlanta from New Orleans when the incident occurred. “I got a call that he was coughing and bleeding through the nose. A medical team was called in and he was treated. QQ told me that the flight was very cold and the doctors said that the coldness and the lengthy time he spent in the air could have contributed to the incident,” Dawkins told the Jamaica Observer yesterday. THE FATHER/MANAGER OF DANCEHALL ARTIST QQ, TO BE TRIED FOR REPORTED ASSAULT OF HIS GIRLFRIEND!

 Dancehall entertainer, QQ—- KINGSTON, Jamaica — The father and manager of dancehall act QQ is to be tried in December on allegations that he assaulted his girlfriend at a service station. The December 1 trial date was set today when Joseph ‘GQ’ Dawkins appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court Monday. Dawkins pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault occasioning bodily harm. The accused and the complainant had an altercation at a Total service station along Constant Spring Road, when he reportedly held her by the throat, hit her in the face, head, stomach and bit her on the left arm.
