SADIKI & TWIGGI’s “WITH YOU I’M BORN AGAIN” TOPS THE SOUTH FLORIDA CHART!

 Top: Twiggi Bottom: Sadaki.– With You I’m Born Again, a ballad by singers Sadiki and Twiggi, is number one for the second straight week on the South Florida Reggae Chart. The song was released late last year, and is from Sadiki’s Covered In Love album. Sadiki (real name Henry Buckley Jr), who produced the song and album for his Skinny Bwoy Records, expected it to do well. “It’s not surprising to me at all. Everyone involved in the recording gave 150 per cent effort. I’m appreciative of the fact that the disc jockeys are supporting it and exposing it to the people,” he said. TWIGGY AND SADIKI’s COLLABORATION “WITH YOU I’M BORN AGAIN” HAS ENTERED THE CHART!

 Twiggy.—- With You I’m Born Again, a song recorded by singers Sadiki and Twiggy, enters the New York Reggae chart at number 30. The song was produced by Skinny Bwoy Records. “Sadiki and I have been working together for about three years now and he suggested that we do a collaboration. I asked him to choose a song and that was the song he came up with,” Twiggy said in an interview this week. VETERAN SINGER RONNIE DAVIS (OF THE ITALS) GOES SOLO ON “IYAHCOUSTIC!”

 Ronnie Davis— To diehard fans of roots-reggae, Ronnie Davis is forever linked to The Itals, a group best known for spiritual anthems like In A Dis Ya Time. But for his latest project, an acoustic album titled Iyahcoustic, the 66-year-old singer flies solo. It is scheduled for release in August, weeks before Davis heads to Europe for a series of shows. The album is produced by Henry Buckley Jnr, better known as singer Sadiki. “It was Sadiki’s idea an’ I love it from the start. SADIKI ADDS NEW TWISTS TO OLD CLASSICS FOR NEW ALBUM!

 Sadiki— SINGER-PRODUCER Sadiki is looking to impress a diverse audience with Covered In Love, his fourth album, scheduled for release on Friday. The set, self-produced for his Skinny Boyz Records, hears him covering 10 of his favorite songs from different eras. They include Love Yourself; originally done by Justin Beiber, Ed Sheeran’s Photograph; Sadie, a 1970s hit for The Spinners; and Book of Rules (with singer Tony Anthony) which was made famous by The Heptones.
