Saffari— IN his travels across Jamaica, singer Salanyde Saffari noticed that each of its 14 parishes have something in common. They have a commercial hub — a downtown. Saffari salutes these areas in Downtown, his new song which is produced by Greg Fusions Records out of Whitehall Avenue. “The reality is that yuh can get everything in these areas. In Jamaica when wi hear downtown wi think negative but it’s not all bad, an’ dat’s the main reason for doing the song,” he explained.
