THE DISBANDED T.O.K. LEAVES CONFIRMED ENGAGEMENTS IN DOUBT!

The foursome, best known for tracks such as Guardian Angel, Chi Chi Man and Footprints, have obligations for three events including a gig in the Caribbean island of St Vincent this weekend. They are also booked to be part of Damian Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock Cruise as well as a festival on the South American continent — Colombia. DANCEHALL’S T.O.K. CALLS IT QUITS!

Clarke disclosed that there has been tension within the camp for the past eight years. “The group has been slowly imploding and I guess this is the last straw. There have been personality clashes. ALL SYSTEMS ARE GO FOR THE SECOND STAGING OF THE BLUE MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL!

 TOK— ALL is set for the second staging of the Blue Mountain Music Festival at the Hollywell Recreational Park in St Andrew, today and tomorrow. According to the organisers, dancehall quartet TOK, apart from the usual pre-show challenges, all is shaping up nicely for the event. “What we are really happy about is the anticipation and buzz we are getting from the streets. CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE BLUE MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL, FEBRUARY 21-22!

 T.O.K CHANGES are coming for the 2015 staging of the Blue Mountain Music Festival, set for the Holywell Recreational Park on February 21 — 22. The organisers, members of the dancehall quartet TOK, are already in planning mode in order to make the festival which saw its inaugural staging last year more comfortable for patrons. “Most importantly for Blue Mountain Music Festival 2015 we are moving the stage to the lower section of the park which will open up the entire park and create an amphitheatre-esque vibe. T.O.K. AIMS TO EXPAND GLOBAL REACH WITH NEW ALBUM!

  T.O.K. – File Reggae/dancehall group T.O.K. is gearing up to release a new album. However, for this project, the group is seeking to appeal to the Spanish and African markets. According to David Mullings, who is contracted to promote and develop this latest project, T.O.K.’s new music will have a mass appeal, especially outside of the island. The album’s name is yet to be released, however, the songs have already been shortlisted. Mullings hinted that some of the songs will carry an electronic dance music (EDM) type of sound. “This album’s target is the entire world. We hope to carry our loyal dancehall and reggae fans along with us as we present a hybrid body of work. SCHEDULE CONFLICT FORCES T.O.K’S CRAIGY-T TO DROP OUT AS JUDGE ON JAMAICA’S “DIGICEL RISING STARS” COMPETITION!

Craigy T— CRAIGY T, of dancehall quartet T.O.K, will not be a judge on this season’s Digicel Rising Stars due to conflict in his tour schedule. “Yeah, I’m kinda bummed about not being able to finish the season. I love working with new talent. However, it just couldn’t be avoided. With my schedule coupled with T.O.K’s calendar, I would miss about 10 of the 12 live performance shows. That wouldn’t make sense.
