Bunny Diamond— DEEJAY Tappa Zukie and singer Bunny Diamond of the Mighty Diamonds are recovering in hospital after major health scares last week. Daniel Sinclair, Tappa Zukie’s son, told the Jamaica Observer that his father suffered a “diabetic episode” at home on October 27. He was rushed to the University Hospital of the West Indies where he is still a patient. Sinclair denied rumours that his father went into a coma. He said he became disoriented, began vomiting blood and was unresponsive after being admitted to hospital. Yesterday, Sinclair said the veteran toaster spoke to him. “He’s doing much better, he’s out of the danger zone.” Tappa Zukie (real name David Sinclair) is best known for songs like MPLA, Oh Lord and Natty Dread a Weh She Want (with Horace Andy).
