POP DUO AIR SUPPLY, HEADS TO JAMAICA FOR A BENEFIT CONCERT SHOW JUNE 24!

 Top : Air Supply Bottom: Tessane Chin Perennial favorite Air Supply returns to Jamaica for another performance. The Australian soft rock duo of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock is slated to rock a benefit concert dubbed An Evening with Air Supply. It will be hosted by The Issa Trust Foundation at Couples Sans Souci in Tower Isle, St Mary, on June 24. The occasion will be the inaugural ‘For the Children’ benefit concert, and Air Supply are foundation ambassadors. THE “CRIME FREE CHRISTMAS” CAMPAIGN GETS CORPORATE SUPPORT!

Pledging to join hands with over a dozen Jamaican artists and musicians, companies such as Wisynco, FLOW and Innovative Signs are hoping to attract even more eyes to the project. TESSANNE CHIN AND DUANE STEPHENSON ARE ADDED TO NEW YORK CITY’S “GROOVIN IN THE PARK” JUNE 26!

 Tessanne Chin— Promoters of Groovin in the Park have gone again for the reggae/Rhythm And Blues combo that has made it one of the most popular shows in the tri-state area. Tessanne Chin and Duane Stephenson have been added to the June 26 event at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York. They join Beres Hammond and Toots and the Maytals as confirmed reggae acts. TESSANNE CHIN AND SIZZLA KALONJI HIT BILLBOARD CHARTS!

 By Kevin Jackson—  Tessanne Chin—- TESSANNE Chin and Sizzla Kalonji have made the Billboard charts this week. Chin scores her first Billboard entry since 2014, with the ballad Love Suicide, which debuts at number 30 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart. Love Suicide, released on Chin’s Chinita Entertainment label, is the first song by a Jamaican artist to make that Billboard list. It was written by Blu Jane, whose credits include songs by Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande.   Chin charted three times on Billboard charts between 2013 and 2014. Her cover of Whitney Houston’sI Have Nothing reached number 51 on the Hot 100 chart, while her reworking of Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water stalled at number 64. If you don’t know who Tessanne Chin and why she is living out of a suitcase (no, she isn’t homeless), there is a backstory. Tessanne Chin was crowned winner of Season 5 of The Voice, a United States TV reality singing show. She belted an inspired rendition of the Dolly Parton-penned I Will Always Love You – which was made popular by the late Whitney Houston. Since topping the singing competition, Chin has lent her vocals to numerous social and human rights charities in North America and the Caribbean region.
