By Wayde Brown— Former Reggae Boyz midfielder and former national senior team coach Theodore “Tappa” Whitmore is to be honored by the St. James Parish Council with two roadways in the city of Montego Bay being renamed after him. One roadway is to be renamed the Theodore Whitmore Crescent and another is to be renamed the Theodore Whitmore Close. The Theodore Whitemore Crescent, which is approximately 590 metres in length, runs from the Howard Cooke Boulevard turning unto Montego Bay Toad, then right at the first roundabout in a Southerly direction making a loop, passing the Catherine Hall Shopping Complex (Mega Mart) to the second round-about.
