 Though a week has not yet elapsed since Lady Saw got baptised, the former queen of the dancehall is wasting no time where “getting it right with God and man” is concerned. DANCEHALL SINGER J CAPRI, IN INDUCED COMA AFTER CAR ACCIDENT IN KINGSTON!

BY SIMONE MORGAN—-  J Capri—- KENNETH Phillips, father of singer J Capri, is imploring members of the public to continue donating blood to assist in his daughter’s recovery. J Capri, whose given name is Jordan Phillips, reportedly lost control of her Mercedes-Benz which hit a wall before overturning along Barbican Road in St Andrew, early yesterday morning. “We are really grateful to the donors who came in to give blood, but we are asking others to please contribute as her blood count is extremely low. She really lost a lot of blood,” he said. Phillips told the Jamaica Observer that his daughter did an emergency surgery at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston and is in an induced coma. “The surgery went well but she is still in a serious condition. DANCEHALL ARTIST DEXTA DAPS GETS MAY 13 COURT DATE TO ANSWER CHARGES!

The 28-year-old is booked to answer four charges relating to an incident involving lawmen at the Sangster International Airport in the second city on Monday. The charges are: obstructing the police; the use of indecent language; resisting arrest; and assault occasioning bodily harm The artist whose given name is Louis Grandison — is said to have parked his vehicle in a restricted area of the airport facility and was being ticketed for the offence. Within a few months, however, many times, those businesses are nearly non-existent. Producer and designer Romeich Major says the key to keeping the venture going is being businesses-oriented. “It is sustainable if you do it on a business level. Held at the Bayfront Park on Biscayne Boulevard on Sunday, the eighth annual Best of the Best concert was nothing short of spectacular. The concert promised 100 per cent Caribbean entertainment and, with some of the biggest names from the region on the line-up, did not disappoint. The best of reggae, dancehall and soca was showcased from start to end. Beginning at 2:30 p.m., the earlier acts prepared the crowd for what was to come.
