New York-based reggae singer Tom Laing is ready to take his career to the top of the music world.
The Trench Town born singer who is known for songs such as Belly of the Beast featuring Capleton, Finally Free and Front Door is set to release several new projects.
His first release for 2017 will be a single titled Kings Highway which is slated to be released before the end of the month.
The Donni Marshall produced track was leaked to radio last week, since then it had been added to the playlists of several popular radio stations both locally and abroad.
“This is an excellent song; the fans are going to love it. It has a very positive message. I always try my best to deliver songs that are inspiring and entertaining,” said the artiste.
Laing is currently preparing to shoot the video for Kings High Way.
“I’m putting things together to shoot the video in Jamaica. I’ve never done a video in my homeland before, and I am looking forward to doing this one there for sure. I’ve already received the treatment from the director, so as soon as everything is in place, we’re going to get it done.”
The hard-working entertainer is also working on several high-profile projects which will see him collaborating with artiste and producers from different genres of music including Hip Hop and R&B.
“I’m working on some major projects right now, and when the time is right I will let the people know about them,” said Laing.
Tom Laing is also scheduled to perform on a number of major events in Jamaica later this year.
